| Improvements to the lure motion... |
I had lots of emotional ups and downs today as I tried to improve the hook mechanics and lure movement... Initially the contact/collision point for the fish was on the bobber, not the hook - so, I tried to fix that and also add more realistic movement to the lure - I got it to work but the mechanics weren't great, so I reverted back to having contact on the bobber. I might try to fix it again another day when I have more time and patience.
Despite my difficulties, the lure animation/movement is a nice improvement. It now drags behind the bobber as its reeled in, and also drags behind when the player casts. So, its less static overall and looks a little more realistic.
