Racing prototype progress...

As expected, I've encountered some challenges already but I'm still making great progress... |
I tried relying on the existing waypoint scripts for comparing the player distances and progress, but had a difficult time using that, so I wrote my own waypoint script and it's working well. I have a simple solution for when the players cross the finish line, but needs more testing. And, I'm starting to plan out of the other typical aspects of a game, like interfaces, options, performance, etc.
I estimate this will take about a month to make the basic game, possibly more depending on how much time and detail I want to put into the levels, models, music, etc... I still haven't determined the best way to do the level design/production. I imagine the game will come together quickly after that.
