Porting to Android (Day 6)

I'm almost done optimizing the game for mobile... |
I made proper billboards for several of the larger models: the lighthouse, windmill, and water tower. Also edited several more models to reduce their mesh size.
I downloaded a popular water shader for mobile, and it did not perform well... mine runs twice as fast, and looks better than the demo. So, that makes me feel much better about the speeds I'm getting.
Next, I'm going to replace some of the keyboard controls with UI buttons. Then, some testing and tweaks, and it will be finished!
